1. Can I place an order? Will you still be able to send my items?

Yes, Chewigem continues to serve our customers. Never has it been more important than now. While royal mail and all other delivery couriers are operational, so are we. The postal service is seen as an essential service, allowing us to deliver for you. When selecting a delivery address, be aware that companies and businesses may be closed and unable to receive parcels.

2. Are delivery times affected?

Our teams are working to hard to ensure we can continue to deliver. Orders continue to be processed Monday to Friday with the aim of same day dispatch for anyone who orders before 2 pm still in place. However once they leave us we are reliant on the postal service which may be under more strain than usual. You will receive dispatch notifications as normal, so you know your order has left us but would ask for your patience while our delivery companies do there best to get the countries post delivered.

3. Is it possible to return items?

Yes, you can continue to return items. Just send to the return address included in your order with a note of your order number and we will process any refund due in line with our terms and conditions on receipt.

4. Is it safe to receive orders?

We have reduced our warehouse staff to just one, so there is only ever one person handling items and this person is in full health and fully isolated by staying at home when not in the warehouse due to the governments new lock-down requirements. Our products are therefore not exposed to the virus at all and were all produced many months before this pandemic occurred. Therefore the likelihood contaminating our goods is low if not impossible and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low. 5. Is it possible to reduce contact with the driver when they deliver my order?

Yes. All Drivers have been advised to reduce contact with customers by placing packages at the customer’s doorstep and stepping back. If an ID check is required, these are now performed at a distance.

6. What else are you doing to protect us?

Our warehouse staff wear latex free gloves when handling all orders, our work area is sanitized regularly

7. Anything else I should know?

Don’t forgot the very nature of Chewigems means they can be regularly sanitized and washed, we always recommend that anyway and always before first use.

You can wash them in hot soapy water, the top rack of the dishwasher. Or put in a steam steriliser (but remove the cord and clasp).

Cords and claps can be washing in hot soapy water or a washing machine.

Sterilising solutions can also be used on your chewigems.
