Hands On Magnets are a visual aid, to help children to stay in a still and safe place, once you take them out of the car.

Hands On Magnets give children who may be a flight risk, or prone to running off, a focus, and clear steps to follow when they are getting in and out of the car.

This makes the experience much safer for children, and less stressful for parents and carers.

How do they work?

Hands On Magnets are really simple to use. You pop the magnet onto the car, at the safe spot where you want the child to wait at.

Once you take the child out of the car, you say “Hands On”, and the child presses their hand against Harry or Holly Hands On. They wait here, until you are ready to safely leave the car.

Each Hands On Magnet comes with a little booklet, illustrating the social story of Harry and Holly Hands On, waiting safely at the car. Parents and carers can read all about Harry and Holly with the child, to help with understanding and developing the Hands On Habit.
